The company is Local2you.com.  It is designed for quick expansion and is focused on the customer.  It is not a software development business and has therefore purchased in base programs, with proven track records and support infrastructure.  We trade on and off line, as most modern businesses should.

When creating the business plan, we were very aware, that this type of .com business model has to have a low cost running structure.  Therefore, franchisees were an integral part of the initial plan.

We are looking for £70,000 for 20% of the business, or, from the appropriate person, £30,000 and 12 months full-time involvement.

Local2you.com had a grant application rejected, because “it was not an innovation but a cleaver use of existing technology”.  We accept we are not inventing the wheel, gear box or bodywork, but reject the notion that clever use of technology is not innovation.  

We an opportunistic business, that looks for gaps in markets and fills them, with a package that has consumer appeal.  We will also lead, where that is the appropriate route.  

Local2you.com is a multi facetted business that uses only proven technologies, all web sites use programs that are running for other companies and are being constantly updated.  Our IT team modifies the systems to our requirements, without changing the underlay code.

The overall mandate for the business is to provide a low cost package for individuals in businesses of all sizes.  This package must include, without extra cost:

Way to increase sales – full business listing, opportunities to meet buyers and suppliers, understanding and knowledge of marketing.

To be listed in our business directory you will have to have your entry verified by your peers, being a member is not enough.  This will give us a website, that is full of trusted information.  There are not supplements to add a special offer, display your logo etc.  The price is in our basic package.

Gathering.Local2you.com
These are not local business clubs, but places where you can make personal contacts UK wide and with overseas businesses.  You can attend any Gathering you wish, your local Gathering or anywhere you happen to be.  

We will us iconic gathering places such as in Norwich the City Hall overlooking the Market Place and Norwich By Pass at the Sainsbury Centre.  In London we will use the Hub Working Centre 2 minutes from Liverpool St Station, and these will happen between 16.30 and 18.30 and be aimed at those waiting for lower cost rail journey times.  London, will appeal because it will give regional members access to companies that place higher paid work and to buyers with major budgets.
